September arrives like a quiet whisper after the storm – but don’t be fooled. Beneath the surface, powerful shifts are taking place. This month brings not one but two eclipses, a rare double New Moon in Virgo, and Saturn’s return to the dreamier waters of Pisces—pulling us back into deep spiritual lessons, emotional clarity, and the need to ground ourselves like never before.
Eclipse season is here to realign us. The Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on the 7th stirs the emotional and spiritual depths, asking us to surrender old stories. The Solar Eclipse in Virgo on the 21st doesn’t ask us to set goals – it asks us to sit still, observe, and allow the pieces to shift as they must.
This is a time for inner anchoring. For letting go without needing all the answers. For finding sacred structure in our routines, our practices, and our breath. Whether you’re navigating endings, transitions, or subtle shifts, your Yogascope for September is here to help you move with intention, trust, and grace.
Align. Breathe. Move.
Step into September with intention see the MoreYoga schedule and meet us on the mat.

Significant Dates:
1st Sept
Saturn re-enters Pisces – Saturn is the planet of boundaries, structure and life lessons. Since May it has been in the sign of Aries – challenging our perceptions of ourselves and bringing up discourse around identity and individualism. On 1st Sept Saturn re-enters the sign of Pisces, inviting us to revisit lessons we may have learned between 7th March 2023 and 24th May 2025. Saturn in the spiritual sign of Pisces invites us to build a structure and a framework when it comes to spiritual practices including yoga and meditation. Saturn teaches us that we reap the benefits when we apply structure and discipline to things.
2nd Sept
Mercury enters Virgo – Mercury is the planet of communication and it loves to be in the sign of Virgo. This transit blesses us with sharp minds and an attention to detail.
7th Sept
Full Moon in Pisces and Lunar Eclipse in Pisces – Full Moon in Pisces is always a deeply emotional and sensitive day in the calendar. This Full Moon will be particularly emotive as there is a Lunar Eclipse. Lunar Eclipses are always revelatory and it’s important to find quiet time on eclipse days. It’s a good day for an extra-long savasana or a guided meditation.
13th Sept
Sun Conjunct Mercury in Virgo – Mercury moves into a harmonious connection with the sun, giving us the confidence to say exactly what we need to say. To make the most of this transit work with the throat chakra. It’s a good day to schedule an interview or important conversation.
18th Sept
Mercury enters Libra – When Mercury is in the Venus ruled sign of Libra we are blessed with more diplomacy and charm.
19th Sept
Venus enters Virgo – Venus in Virgo is all about devoting yourself to the things you love. Venus doesn’t love to be in Virgo because love can feel like a chore, try to infuse your daily routines with joy.
21st Sept
New Moon in Virgo and Solar Eclipse in Virgo – Yes there are two New Moons in Virgo this year! Usually, we set intentions on the New Moon but an eclipsed New Moon is a time to sit with yourself and go inwards. The New Moon opposes Saturn (the planet of structure, boundaries and lessons) so we could find our routines suddenly disrupted – this is to make way for new routines that will ultimately serve us better. Yogic practices during an eclipse should be gentle and grounding.
22nd Sept
Mars enters Scorpio – Mars is the planet of drive and ambition and when Mars enters Scorpio, we approach everything with ferocious intensity. Make sure you are channelling your energy in the right direction.
Sun enters Libra – Birthday season for the Libras begins. Happy birthday Libras! Collectively we are focused on themes of harmony, grace, beauty and justice.

Virgo
Dear Virgo, this birthday season is deep, spiritual and revelatory. You already experienced one New Moon in your sign on 23rd August and this month we have a super-rare cosmic event – a second New Moon in Virgo (21st Sept). The first New Moon was an opportunity to set intentions, to envisage, to align – this second New Moon is eclipsed and eclipses invite us to surrender and to be redirected. In between the two New Moons there is a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in your opposite sign – Pisces (7th Sept) and this Full Moon might feel like a big emotional purge. Eclipses are here to help us shed anything that is out of alignment, the tricky part is that we don’t get much choice in the matter. Trust that whatever is being cleared out, is making space for new and beautiful things but prepare to feel a little off-centre.
Spiritual Practices to Support You
This month you must commit to consciously grounding yourself on a daily basis. When eclipses happen in your sign or your opposite sign, they usually imply big transitions and the best way to navigate through transitions is to find stability within yourself. Poses that focus on the Root chakra and Earth element Mandala flows can be helpful. Working with the Solar Plexus chakra can also help you to embrace changes and face them with courage.
Journal Prompt: What is no longer serving me? How can I prepare to let go?
Libra
We enter your birthday season on 22nd Sept following two eclipses and eclipses always promise changes, so in order to avoid feeling discombobulated during September – make time for rest. Mars (the planet of drive and ambition) is in your sign until 22nd Sept – giving you focus but also causing frustrations – particularly around 5th Sept and 16th Sept. When Mercury (the planet of communication) enters your sign on 18th Sept you will be able to express yourself with grace and charm. Pay attention to illuminating, deep and creative conversations around the 18th and 19th of September.
Spiritual Practices to Support You
With Mars in your sign for most of the month, you need to be directing your energy towards the important things. The more focused and intentional you can be, the more success you will enjoy. The yogic principals of Brahmacharya and Tapas will help you this month. Brahmacharya has been translated many different ways but for you Libra, this month, it’s about knowing which causes, people and activities are really important to you. Tapas means “fiery discipline” and with Mars in your sign you should be more focused than usual – set intentions so you can really align. You are a sign that really thrives through your connection with others and with Mercury in your sign, conversations you have with others this month hold the key to success – in your yoga practice work with your Throat Chakra to ensure communication is clear. Try poses like Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) and Matsyasana (fish pose) with Lion’s Breath.
Journal prompt: How can I use my voice to empower myself and others?
Scorpio
The annual Full Moon in fellow Water sign Pisces always heralds an emotional purge for you, dear Scorpio, but this Full Moon in Pisces (7th Sept) is particularly emotive and that’s because we have a Lunar Eclipse. Be prepared to release something or someone that no longer serves you in order to create space for more aligned connections. Saturn (the planet of structure, boundaries and life lessons) re-enters Pisces at the start of the month, so Scorpios (especially Scorpios with mid-November birthdays), will be going over some old lessons. This is not a month for push and effort, this is a month for calm and surrender. Trust the process, what you shed creates the space for what you really want – so that when Mars enters your sign on 22nd Sept you can move forwards with clarity and intention.
Spiritual Practices to Support You
This is a month to cultivate calm and to find practices that help to regulate your emotions. Work with the element of Water (which represents the emotional realm) and choose poses such as Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (pigeon) and Malsana (yogi squat). Try a workshop that combines massage and Restorative Yoga or a soundbath. With your ruling planet Mars in the sign of Libra for most of the month it can be helpful to practice Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) to help to regulate your nervous system and create balance and clarity.
Journal prompt: What emotions am I feeling and how can I move through them gently?
Sagittarius
As a Mutable sign you will be feeling the effects of the eclipses in fellow Mutable signs – Virgo and Pisces. This month you may find yourself experiencing a cosmic redirect because eclipses come to force us back into alignment if we have strayed off our highest path. Uranus (the planet of rebellion and surprises) is also in the Mutable sign of Gemini, so that is adding a little spice to the pot and a little extra pressure to move with the times. Change or be changed is the cosmic message but because you’re blessed with an expansive nature and an open-mind this shouldn’t phase you one-bit, dear Sag. Your ruler Jupiter is still in Cancer putting the emphasis on self-care to help you pull through any crunchy moments.
Spiritual Practice to Support You
As you move through the enforced changes that the eclipses are likely to bring, look for the calm and stability within. Pranayama (breathwork) can be a powerful anchor at this time. As a Fire sign Kapalabhati (breath of fire) can help provide clarity and focus your mind so you can see your circumstances more clearly. On mat, seek out practices that feel like self-care to you – these could be dynamic or restorative, depending on your own personal preferences.
Journal Prompt: Who or what have I recently outgrown?
Capricorn
With an eclipse and a New Moon in fellow earth sign Virgo you may feel shifts to the foundational structure of your life – whilst these may be uncomfortable, they will also be much needed. On 1st Sept your ruling planet Saturn (the planet of structure, boundaries and life lessons) moves back into Pisces for one last review of the lessons that were coming up for you between 7th March 2023 and 24th May 2025 so look back on the period and try to identify any overarching themes. September’s astrology will show you where what you are currently building (literally or metaphorically) may need refinement but if you pay attention to the cosmic critiques – the end results will exceed all your expectations.
Spiritual Practices to Support You
With your ruling planet Saturn in the spiritual sign of Pisces, meditation is the key to contentment and to greater clarity. If seated meditation doesn’t work for you, then practice your favourite style of yoga. Around the time of the eclipse in Virgo (21st Sept) grounding practices are imperative. Work with a combination of the Root chakra and the Third Eye chakra this month. For the Root Chakra try chanting the mantra “LAM” and for the Third Eye chant the mantra “AUM”.
Journal Prompt: When I ask my intuition to speak to me, what is it saying?
Aquarius
For the foreseeable future Aquarians are the catalysts for global change and this is because Pluto (the planet of transformation) is in your sign until 2044 and as this month Pluto is making links with Uranus (planet of rebellion and surprises) and Saturn (planet of life lessons) you are more determined than ever to change the status quo. You have always been collectively minded but now, more than ever, you are noticing and calling out toxic group structures and advocating for a better society. To help you with your humanitarian work it’s advisable to pause and focus on self-love – particularly until 19th Sept when Venus (planet of beauty and love) will be in your opposite sign of Leo.
Spiritual Practices to Support You
Having Pluto in your sign will have you embroiled in psychological deep dives. It will change your life in numerous ways and ask you to evolve. While you continue to move through this energy it can be helpful to practice long and deep Yin practices that give space for stillness and introspection. Tend to yourself through your yoga practice by making time to go to a class you truly love – it will bolster you as you continue to do the work you want to do in the world.
Journal Prompt: How can I ensure I tend to myself at the same time as tending to my community?
Pisces
This is a momentous month for you, dear Pisces, as the Full Moon (7th Sept) in your sign marks the half way point in your year. The Full Moon is eclipsed and eclipses bring sudden changes and revelations. Not only will the eclipse bestow you with deep and perhaps surprising insights – Saturn’s return to your sign on 1st Sept will force you to go over old lessons. With a solar eclipse in your opposite sign -Virgo (21st Sept) – September is bound to be a wild ride. If you are paying attention though- you will exit the month with better boundaries and a much clearer understanding of your current circumstances.
Spiritual Practices to Support You
This month is all about boundaries so work with a combination of the Solar Plexus Chakra and the Throat Chakra to empower yourself, in order to assert yourself more clearly. It is often said that the word “No” is a magic spell and by working with these energy points you will amplify your ability to protect your energetic boundaries. Try chanting the mantra “RAM” for the Solar Plexus and “HAM” for the Throat Chakra. Wear or carry a black tourmaline crystal and smudge yourself with smoke or incense.
Journal Prompt: Where and with whom do I need to reassert my boundaries?
Aries
With Saturn (the planet of structure and life lessons) leaving your sign and re-entering Pisces you are given a short period of reprieve until 13th Feb 2026. The past few months may have presented challenges and now is the time to gather your resources before the next set of cosmic tests begin in February when Saturn re-enters Aries. Overall, the past few years may have been a period of self-discovery, revelation, re-evaluation and enforced changed – hopefully though, you are emerging from these trials and tribulations more aligned than ever. As best you can this month, find moments of stillness and reflection. It will serve you well on the next leg of your Saturn journey.
Spiritual Practices to Support You
September is a month to rest and reflect. Treat yourself to Restorative Yoga, Yin, Flow to Restore or Yoga Nidra. After your yoga practice take time to journal. Particularly, try to reflect on what you learned between 24th May 2025 and 1st September 2025 as those themes will recur further down the line. The clearer you can get on the lessons you are being given the more easily you will sail through.
Journal prompt: What have I learned about myself recently?
Taurus
The eclipse in Pisces (7th Sept) calls on you to get in touch with your emotions. If you have been holding something in or struggling to express your feelings the eclipse will activate a much-needed release. Make time to rest and process. When the Solar Eclipse arrives on 21st Sept in fellow Earth sign Virgo you may be gifted with a sudden flash of clarity. Take a note of what you observe on that day. If you are planning any big beauty treatments the start of the month is more favourable as your ruler Venus will be in the glamorous sign of Leo. Once Venus enters Virgo (19th Sept) you will be more focused on small daily rituals.
Spiritual Practices to Support You
Take time to connect to the element of Water – this could be through bathing, swimming or practicing yoga with a focus on the Sacral Chakra. Poses such as Goddess and Prasarita Padottanasana (wide-legged standing forward fold), Utkata Konasana (goddess) and Skandasana (side lunge) can be beneficial. Attend a guided meditation that focuses on the element of Water around the time of the Full Moon or find one online.
Journal Prompt: Who or what supports my emotional wellbeing and how do I call on these people and devote myself to these actions?
Gemini
The first New Moon in Virgo (23rd Aug) may have presented you with some form of surprise revelation. The second New Moon & Solar Eclipse in Virgo (21st Sept) will bring a continuation of the same themes. Reflect back to the 23rd Aug in order to prepare for further downloads around the time of New Moon (21st Sept).
Things are currently shifting for the mutable signs and the ground beneath you may feel a bit shaky. If you can, hold off any big decisions until you are on the flipside of the eclipses (22nd Sept). If you must make decisions, allow leeway for change.
Spiritual Practices to Support You
With changes coming in thick and fast, it’s important to find the stability and consistency within yourself. Commit to one activity a week for your wellbeing that is a non-negotiable. On the mat, work with balancing poses as they help as an embodied metaphor for finding stability in times of flux. Poses such as Vriksana (Tree Pose), Virabhadrasana 3 (Warrior 3) and Natarajasana (dancer’s pose) will help you navigate. On Eclipse days (7th and 21st Sept) take an extra long Savasana or do a guided meditation to help you get more clarity.
Journal Prompt: Who or what keeps me steady and stable? How can I lean in to that support?
Cancer
Cancer is a Water sign and so is Pisces – Water is the realm of emotion. On 7th Sept there is a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces. The Moon rules Cancer and in Traditional astrology Jupiter rules Pisces – What does this mean? In a nutshell…Big emotions for you dear Cancerian. Jupiter expands everything it touches and Jupiter is currently in your sign. The Moon is connected to the sphere of emotions. Eclipses can sometimes offer breakthroughs and in this case it could be an emotional breakthrough of some kind. A shedding of some old baggage to make space for new joy. The New Moon on 21st Sept may offer you a much-needed change to your routine.
Spiritual Practices to Support You
Let yourself feel the big feels this month, dear Cancer. Breathwork will help you to move through it all with grace – try Bhramari breath (Humming breath) to help soothe the nervous system, along with Shanmukhi Mudra (Cover the eyelids with index and middle finger, ring finger over top lip, little finger under bottom lip, thumbs in ears) this mudra will help you to go inwards and will help your inner wisdom to become more clear. Grounding is essential this month so practices poses such as Dandasana (staff pose) and Paschimottanasana (seated forward bend)
Journal Prompt: What daily routines support my emotional wellbeing?
Leo
With Venus (the planet of beauty and love) in your sign until 19th Sept, you’ll be feeling extra magnetic. This is a great time for little beauty rituals that make you feel good. The incoming Lunar Eclipse in Pisces (7th Sept) will ask you to assess your finances and the Solar Eclipse in Virgo (21st Sept) will require you to revise your daily habits and routines. By the time Libra Season arrives on the 22nd Sept, you’ll have a fresh perspective on things.
Spiritual Practices to Support You
Make the most of Venus’s boost to your charm and beauty by wearing white, pink and green when you practice. Friday is Venus’s day, so find time to practice on a Friday until 19th Sept. With the Eclipse in Virgo asking you to revise your routines, it can be helpful to work with inversions as they will help you see things from another perspective and support you in breaking free from outworn habits. Try poses such as Adho Mukha Svanasana (downdog) and Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand).
