Hello MoreYogis,

Wishing you all a blessed Libra Season.

This month I’ve pulled a tarot card for each sign.

As always, read the Yogascopes for your rising sign if you know it.

Libra Season

Libra is an Air sign and the element of Air relates to the mental realm – to ideas, thoughts and concepts. Venus (the planet of beauty and love), is Libra’s ruling planet and Libra invites us to have harmonious thoughts and create elegant environments. Libra’s symbol is The Scales – symbolic of Libra’s gift for diplomacy and their balanced well-considered opinions.

On the yoga mat, Libra Season looks like balancing poses, Heart Chakra work and the balancing breathwork – Nadi Shodhana.

This Libra Season Venus stations retrograde in the sign of Scorpio and Venus will re-enter Libra during Scorpio Season, this is a once in eight years transit where Venus will take us on journey back in time through Scorpio and Libra stirring up a nostalgia for past trends. Any retrograde tends to be reflective but Venus Retrograde can evoke a deep sense of yearning. Nourish your heart through cacao ceremonies, slow flows, yin and restorative practices.

Full Moon in Aries (26th September 2026 17:48 BST)

Theme: I allow myself to dream of the most empowered and authentic version of myself and through this dreaming I evolve.

A Full Moon in Aries highlights themes of identity, leadership and individuality. This Full Moon in Aries specifically asks to notice the masks we wear for others and to contemplate what it means to be truly ourselves. On the day of the Full Moon there is a harmonious flow of energy between the Sun in Libra, the Moon and Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius. It’s important to leave time and space for deep meditation and for exploration of the subconscious mind because it is by moving into a place of reverie and connecting to dream states that we will truly understand what this Full Moon is inviting us to release.

On the mat

This Full Moon we are invited to access the dream realm. Opt for deep meditative practices that allow you to experience transcendent states. We can reach transcendent states through long Savasanas and deep meditation. Aries is a Fire sign and in yoga the element of Fire sits in the Solar Plexus so deep supported twists can be a vehicle to embodying the themes of this moon.

New Moon in Libra (10th October 2026 16:49 BST)

Theme: I celebrate unusual forms of beauty. I process the past in order to step into the future from an intentional heart centred place.

This New Moon in Libra is nostalgic and meditative with Mercury (planet of communication) sitting Venus (planet of beauty and love) who is retrograde in the sign of Scorpio. Venus and Mercury square Mars (planet of drive and ambition) which may lead to a sense of fatigue, lassitude or struggle. It can be hard to get things done because Venus and Mercury may have us wallowing in past memories. Saturn and Neptune are in Aries (Libra’s opposite sign) inviting us to adapt and shapeshift – to find new and inventive ways to be unapologetically ourselves within any system that seeks to repress us.

On the Mat

This New Moon is ruled by Venus (planet of beauty and love) and on the day of the New Moon Venus is down in the deep depths of Scorpio sitting with Mercury. The New Moon is asking you to do the emotional labour, to talk about your feelings and to unpack the past in a safe space. Let your yoga practice be a sanctuary for emotional release and healing. This is a Candlelit Flow with evocative essential oil that takes you back to a place and time, this is a cacao ceremony followed by heart centred yin with a big piece of rose quartz placed by your mat. At this time of year it can be nice to do Stirring the Pot (Chakki Chalanasana) as it’s an opportunity to unearth stuck and stagnant energy so we can move into the New Moon feeling renewed and intentional.

YOUR LIBRA SEASON YOGASCOPES

Libra (September 23 – October 23)

There is an inherent tenderness to Libra Season and this year the cadence is deep, romantic and nostalgic. Music and art are a great source of comfort to you and you might find yourself investing in gig tickets, art prints and clothing that remind you of the past. The Full Moon in Aries (26th September) calls on you to keep reflecting on the balancing act between boundaries and flexibility when it comes to your one to one relationships. While the New Moon in your sign (10th October) brings a desire for deep conversations as you want to unearth secrets from the past in order to move forwards with more clarity.

Let your yoga practice be a place of inward journeying and elevate the experience by bringing a scented eye pillow for Savasana and by rolling essential oils on your pulse points. Try guided meditations and poses that bring awareness to the channel of energy between the heart and throat such as Camel (Ustrasana) and Low Lunge (Anjaneyasana).

Tarot Card: The Queen of Wands – Express yourself creatively, experiment with fashion.

Scorpio (October 24 – November 21)

During Libra Season both Venus and Mercury travel through your sign. Venus is retrograde from 3rd October and this is a cycle that comes around only once every eight years. As the energies of Venus and Mercury meld in your first house (the house of identity) you may like to revisit an old style of clothing or visit an exhibition connected to an artist who connects you to a past era of your life. You will learn a lot if you are willing to sit with yourself. The Full Moon in Aries (26th Sept) is a reminder that consistency is important and this lunation will ask you to shed anything that is distracting you from the hard work that you need to put in on a day to day basis. If you can, take a day off or at least schedule in a couple of hours to yourself on the New Moon in Libra (10th Oct) as you will be craving quiet time.

On the yoga mat it’s all about the root chakra as Venus and Mercury in your sign might feel like a sort of excavation or self interrogation. Try poses such as Staff Pose (Dandasana) and Yogi Squat (Malasana). Make time for Yin or Restorative as you will need to recharge.

Tarot Card: The Four of Wands – When you find stability you find joy.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

The Full Moon in Aries (26th Sept) falls in a fellow Fire sign igniting a spark of action and filling you with a sense of optimism, excitement and creative inspiration that you may not have experienced for a while. You are required to be both disciplined and imaginative in the pursuit of joy and pleasure but fundamentally you are being given an energetic boost that will support your highest intentions. Your ruler Jupiter plays into this dynamic as he sits with Leo creating a synergy between the Fire Signs. Bold new plans require inspired and harmonious collaborations so use the New Moon in Libra (10th October) to call in your tribe. With Venus and Mercury meeting in your 12th house, intuition is razor sharp.

On the mat your practice should be playful and energetic. Call in the Fire element by working with Manipura (the Solar Plexus) – wear the colour yellow and bring twists and core work into your practice. The yogic principle of Santosha is important – it asks you to notice the small things that bring you joy. Pay attention to the moments on the poses when you experience contentment. Meditation can bring clear messages through at this time.

Tarot Card: Justice – A document is signed, a deal is done.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

The Full Moon in Aries (26th Sept) lights up the sector of your chart related to home and family and the New Moon in Libra (10th Oct) happens in the sector of your chart related to career and public life, it means that there is a focus on the themes of these houses. A Full Moon in the 4th house suggests the closing of a chapter around home and family and with Saturn in Aries there is a need to set a lasting boundary with someone in your family circle.

The New Moon offers an opportunity to manifest something exciting in the public sphere and as Venus rules Libra and Venus will be with Mercury in Scorpio on the day of the New Moon, you can get what you want by having honest and probing conversations with close friends and partners. Venus is retrograde in your house so friendship so old friends from your past may come to your aid.

This Libra season you can improve your chances of success by calling in your allies and cultivating stability. You can use your practice as an embodied metaphor to help connect to these themes. Practice in community and join a Moon Circle or a Sound Bath to keep yourself open to connection. Ground deeply by working with poses that activate the Root Chakra such as Malasana (Yogi Squat) and Sukasana (easy seat). Boundaries are important so think about how you can keep your practice time protected even when work and family make demands.

Tarot Card: Queen of Swords – Don’t be afraid to set a boundary.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

There may be secrets in the workplace with news that breaks after the 14th November when Venus stations direct. Keep your intuition clear and your ear to the ground so that you can stay one step ahead. The Full Moon in Aries (26th Sept) is an opportunity to sharpen your communication and divest yourself of anything that is blocking your self expression. The New Moon in Libra (10th Oct) asks you what you would like to learn or teach. You’re on a thirty year journey to deeply understand your deepest inner workings and the New Moon creates a portal into a course of self-discovery that will help you on this journey.

Time spent in stillness is valuable this month and Restorative Yoga can offer you the space to process information. Finding new variations on old poses can serve as a vehicle to self-study which aligns with the yogic principle of Svadyhaya and will help not only during Libra Season but with your era defining Pluto transit.

Tarot Card: Judgement – A decision must be made. Pause and consider the best line of action.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

During Virgo Season the lunar eclipse happened in your sign so you are still gathering yourself up and recalibrating. It’s been intense, it’s been emotional, it may even have been life changing. Libra Season may go slightly easier on you but you are still required to do the deep soul searching and to continue on a path of evolution and self-inquiry particularly around the time of the New Moon (10th Oct). You are receiving a boost to your ability to do your daily tasks with Jupiter (luck and expansion) and Mars (drive and ambition) in your house of daily routines and habits. It’s a great time to commit to an exercise program.

If you don’t already have a regular class that you do every week, now is the time to find one. Consistency and routine count both on the mat and beyond. Use the extra energy Mars brings to join a class that feels dynamic and challenging.

Tarot Card: Knight of Wands – Energetic and optimistic, the Knight of Wands promises you a dynamic Libra Season

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

The Full Moon (26th Sept) lands in your house of identity and you are feeling the need to reveal more of yourself or to stop censoring yourself in some way but with Saturn (structure and boundaries) and Neptune (imagination) both moving through this house too you may be traversing through a period of self-doubt and self-editing. The New Moon in your opposite sign of Libra (10th Oct) can help to overcome these challenges as it invites you to call in beauty, harmony, grace, peace and love to your one to one relationships. If you are struggling to see yourself clearly, the most cherished people in your life will hold up a mirror and help you to see your authentic self but you have to be open to dialogue.

Work with the channel of energy between the solar plexus, heart and throat. You can access this channel with poses such as Camel (Ustrasana) and Full Wheel (Urvha Dhanurasa). Dancers Pose also works with this energy channel and brings in themes of authenticity, playfulness and connection.

Tarot Card: Two of Cups – One to one relationships are a source of comfort and happiness.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Lovers and close friends had better watch out because no one can read a relationship like you at this time. If a loved one has withheld information from you, you will sense it immediately. Secrets from the past may be revealed and you may need to retreat and process information, particularly around the Full Moon in Aries (26th Sept). The New Moon in Libra (Oct 10th) offers you a chance to reset and to invite balance and harmony into your daily life and relationships. Set an intention to visit a gallery, see a film or do something creative with a partner or close friend on a regular basis and this will lead to a deepening sense of fulfilment.

On the mat find time to go inwards. Slower paced practices can give you the spaciousness to process information. Try a long hold straddle with forehead resting on a bolster.

Tarot Card: Ten of Cups – Emotional fulfilment, family, friendship, celebration.

Gemini (May 21 – June 21)

You crave fun and excitement and the New Moon in Libra (10th Oct) has the potential to deliver it but first you need to do an inventory of your friendship group. The Full Moon in Aries (26th Sept) will ask you to question who has your back right now and to shore up your boundaries. Luckily, with Uranus in your sign you are blessed with sudden flashes of insight and you know instinctively who has your best interests at heart. With Venus and Mercury moving through your house of daily routines you might find comfort in old rituals and daily journalling.

Create daily rituals that connect the channel of energy between the throat chakra and the third eye. This will help to keep your insights sharp and your voice clear. You can work with this channel through chanting, meditation and inversions such as shoulder stand and legs up the wall.

Tarot Card: Ace of Pentacle – New projects, planting a seed for future abundance.

Cancer (June 22 – July 22)

You want to be free to indulge in creativity and to wallow in nostalgia but the Full Moon in Aries (26th Sept) is a hard taskmaster, it’s pushing to work hard and finish tasks. Cancer is ruled by the Moon and the Moon sits with Neptune on the day of the Full Moon causing confusion and a lack of clarity so don’t over exert yourself just because you feel an obligation to succeed. Rather, pause, breathe and trust that you can handle the task at hand. The New Moon in Libra will require you to rest and nest and intentions may be focused on cultivating harmony at home. When Mars exits your sign on September 28th you might find that your energy levels improve, so leave the big tasks until then if you can.

For extra clarity this Libra Season, try Kapalbhati (Skull Shining Breath). Explore practices that feel dynamic and invigorating.

Tarot Card: The King of Cups – Emotional awareness. Processing feelings. Giving advice.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

You receive an energy boost from Mars (planet of drive and ambition) entering your sign on the 28th September but you could be more accident prone so take things slowly. When the Full Moon arrives in Aries (26th Sept) you will be craving adventure but you could be restricted somehow so find activities that can work within the restrictions. Family may bring up conversations around grandparents and you may be craving a deeper understanding of your lineage. The New Moon in Libra (10th Oct) gives you an opportunity to get to know your neighbourhood better over the next six months so try a new coffee shop, MoreYoga location or co-working space.

Pick practices that feel challenging but steady. Work with the Root Chakra to create stable foundations for yourself. To work with the root chakra chant the mantra LAM and try seated postures such as Staff Pose (Dandasana) and Seated Head to Knee Pose (Janushirsana)

Tarot Card: Temperance – Balance the principles of effort and ease. Know when to push and know to rest.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

There is a need to retreat from the world and your energy levels may be lower than usual this Libra Season, rather than trying to push forward, carve out pockets of time for deep rest. The Full Moon in Aries (26th Sept) takes you on a deep inward journey and you may need time alone. When the New Moon (10th Oct) comes around, you will be keen to call in more financial security. Conversations about the past with siblings (if you have them) or neighbours could hold a secret to ushering in more abundance. Through these conversations you may have a sudden realisation that will inspire you to change something about the way you work.

Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing and Restorative Yoga will all support you this month as you will need to recharge your batteries, particularly around the Full Moon. Work with the Throat Chakra to facilitate greater self-expression and boost your conversations skills as deep chats will be useful this Libra Season.

Tarot Card: The High Priestess – Pay attention to your intuition. Try a divination technique such as tarot or iChing.
