Amy came to yoga nearly two decades ago as a respite from stress and anxiety, and she
considers herself, first and foremost, a student of yoga. After confronting burnout and chronic
pain from an inflammatory disease, she began to dive deeper into yoga and explore holistic
practices to support her physical and mental wellbeing. In 2020, she trained with Yoga
East+West, which allowed her to learn from some of the best teachers from both the East and
the West. She then went on to develop her skills further in the advanced teacher training with
MoreYoga.
Amy’s yoga practice is continually evolving to meet her where she is, and she encourages
others to follow this same fluid philosophy. Now qualified in Vinyasa, Hatha, Mandala, Yin,
Restorative, and Yoga Nidra, she weaves various yoga styles into her classes, incorporating
energetic flows, core strengthening, focused balancing, deep stretches, and restorative poses.
As a Minded Institute yoga therapy trainee and a teacher of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive
Therapy (MBCT), her classes are enriched with mindful awareness, breathwork, and guided
relaxation. Amy firmly believes that yoga should be inclusive and holistic, supporting the whole
self and fostering a compassionate approach to both oneself and the world. Join Amy on the
