2:00pm - 4:00pm (120 min)David S.18 of 20 openQueer Movement + Workshop
LGBTQ+ friendly yoga class & social afterwards to connect with others.A gentle afternoon for queer folks to slow down and reconnect with ourselves and each other.
Join David Steer to explore a space of self-awareness, connect to others and find joy within a supportive and inclusive community. This is an open space to practice and bring queerness into well-being.
Each session explores a unique theme relevant to LGBTQ+ experiences and includes creative sessions such as journaling, group discussions and taught workshops.
You will be guided through a simple yet purposeful Yoga practice and guided through meditation with the intent to offer self-reflection and acceptance. We aim to bring people together and foster friendships so you can expect an element of interaction with others, although you are welcome to join in as a listener.
The theme for this session is ‘Friendship’- exploring reflective questions such as ‘What does friendship mean to you?’ ‘How do you find friendship?’ And ‘what do you want your friends to bring out in you?’
We'll open with guided meditation, move through some energising yoga, then pause for tea and cake, a chance to connect, and close with journaling and optional conversations.
As always, this is donation-based on a sliding scale, raising money for Queer Minds, a peer support service for LGBTQIA+ people in SE London, offering monthly support groups, trans drop-in groups, and other workshops and activities."
There are 3 different pricing options available for this Workshop:

You have savings and you can afford some fun expenses every month such as restaurants, cinema and shopping)Tier 3 - £20: You have a comfortable amount of disposable income and do not need to pay close attention to money leaving your account.
