Yoga Therapy for the Mind is an 8-week course developed as a complementary therapy to support those experiencing depression, anxiety, and stress related issues. The course draws on ancient yoga principles and mindfulness meditation techniques that are the foundation ofMindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) one of the fastest growing newer therapies for depression in the UK. Students meet once a week for two hours, exploring the body-mind connection through asanas, pranayama, and restorative properties of mindfulness with psychotherapeutic holding.
More recent scientific research continues to affirm that depressed mood, anxiety, and stress are best treated with a method that addresses both the physiological and psychological dimensions. Yoga naturally works with these various elements. Students are taught practises to regulate mood, rebalance the nervous system, and engage less with unhelpful thought patterns, learning how to use the mind to heal the body and the body to heal the mind - building resilience for both short- and long-term wellbeing.
In the first two weeks of the course students are taught how to regulate and understand mood through breath. Next, they learn how to understand emotional health through the body, and finally through the mind. Each session of the course offers cumulative skills which help students to both become aware of and make helpful changes in their mind body system. In a variety of asanas students learn how to coexist equally with both comfortable and uncomfortable physical sensations. By learning how to be with various sensations in the body they develop greater tolerance to be with various thoughts in a gentle way with less resistance
Students are given homework and reading material to help integrate yoga and mindfulness practice into their daily life. At the close of each session there is an optional discussion space for students to talk about their experiences during class and how to use what they learn when facing the challenges of daily living. Additionally, there is opportunity before and after sessions for brief private discussion with the therapist. All levels of yoga and meditation are welcome. Research by Veena Ugargol found participants showed significant improvement in anxiety and mild depression compared to a control group.

2:00pm - 4:00pm (120 min)Daryn W.21 of 25 openIn a culture that prizes productivity and constant engagement, our capacity to rest deeply is often quietly eroded. In this workshop we will explore the yogic understanding of rest and why it is essential for clarity, emotional balance and long-term wellbeing. Which in turn allows us to access the deeper states of yoga.
We’ll reflect on how daily rhythms including eating, sleeping and the structure of our schedule directly influence our nervous system and our ability to truly switch off. From there, we will move into practices designed to guide the body and mind toward deeper states of rest, including gentle, grounding movement, mindful breathing, visualisation and the conscious practice of surrender.
You will leave with practical tools to help you unwind more effectively, restore depleted energy, and cultivate a more sustainable relationship with effort and recovery in daily life.

3:00pm - 5:00pm (120 min)Ammar B.0 of 18 openThis workshop breaks down handstands into their learnable, trainable components. You'll understand exactly what creates a stable inversion and leave with a clear roadmap for your practice.
We'll explore the anatomy and mechanics that underpin handstands: why you push from serratus anterior (not your deltoids), how scapular positioning affects your balance, and why breathing pattern matters as much as shoulder strength. You'll learn the difference between building endurance, refining alignment, and finding balance and why you need all three working together. What you'll experience:
The session moves through hands-on conditioning, precise technical breakdown, and progressive skill work. We'll cover hand positioning and weight distribution through the palm, shoulder engagement at the right intensity, chest compression and core connection for stability, and breathing techniques that don't disrupt your centre of gravity. You'll learn why your gaze point can make or break your balance, and how posterior pelvic tilt allows you to actually breathe upside down. What you'll take away:
Clear understanding of which muscles drive the movement versus which stabilise it, progressive drills to build the 20-30 second hold window where technique becomes trainable, wall-based conditioning methods that transfer directly to freestanding work, and individual assessment with personalised next steps for your practice.Drawing on analytical precision and systematic coaching methods, this workshop strips away guesswork. Expect clear instruction, hands-on adjustments, and the kind of technical breakdown that helps you understand not just what to do, but why it matters.
Suitable for students comfortable in downward dog who want to build or refine their handstand practice methodically. No prior handstand experience required just willingness to work consistently.

2:00pm - 4:00pm (120 min)Kirthana A.3 of 16 openMost of us are taught to move by pushing, striving, and ""holding"" positions. This workshop is designed to flip that script. Instead of using force to achieve a shape, we will explore how to use natural movement principles to find the path of least resistance. By prioritising softness over tension and breath over form, you’ll discover that your body is capable of much more than you thought—with much less effort.
What We’ll Explore:
The Power of Softness: Learn why ""softening"" isn’t about being weak, but about being responsive and agile.
Natural Mechanics: Understand how to move from your center, allowing your limbs to follow rather than lead.
The Breath-Movement Connection: Using the breath as the primary engine for every transition, making your practice feel like one continuous, rhythmic dance.
Individualised Inquiry: Shifting away from ""correct"" alignment and toward what feels right for your unique anatomy.
When you move with ease, you live with ease. The goal isn't to master the pose; it's to master the state of being while you move.

2:00pm - 4:00pm (120 min)Maria L.18 of 20 openThis transformative experience begins with a short introduction to breathwork and what to expect from the experience.
Once grounded, you’ll be guided through a 4-phase 9D breathwork session via individual headphones while wearing an eye mask. This invites you to go deeper within and fully focus on your own transformational journey.
We begin with slow, conscious connected breathing, then gently activate with nose-to-mouth breath. You are then invited into the vast space of your consciousness with an extended breath hold, allowing access to altered states of awareness.
From there, we move into focused and powerful mouth breathing, where you break through your comfort zone. In the final stage, you’re invited to release through an uninhibited scream — a deep emotional purge that clears space for renewal, clarity, and reconnection.
We close with quiet integration, supported by a curated healing soundtrack. During this time, Levin and Maria channels galactic Reiki energy through hands-on support.
Throughout the session, Levin holds a grounded and intuitive space, offering affirmations, gentle bodywork, and energetic guidance to help you move safely through the layers of your experience.
You’re then offered space for reflection and sharing, if you feel called to.
This is an invitation to let go of the old, clear the inner noise, and return to the truth of who you are.
What is 9D Breathwork?
9D Breathwork is a multisensory healing journey that blends ancient breathing practices with advanced sound and energy technologies. Using individual headphones and optional eye masks, you’re immersed in a curated, energetically charged soundtrack designed to support emotional release and awaken inner vision.
The experience is supported by gentle touch and intuitive bodywork from Levin and Maria Lodetoft, both channeling Reiki to deepen your journey. This is not just breathwork — it’s a full body, mind, and soul multidimensional reset.
Where timeless wisdom meets modern technology — for deep transformation

2:00pm - 4:00pm (120 min)Aleksandar I.25 of 30 openThis workshop explores the essential relationship between the hips and knees in Ashtanga Yoga, with a focus on building a sustainable, long-term practice.
Many common aches and injuries (particularly in the knees) stem not from the knee itself, but from how the hips are asked to move (or forced to move) in postures such as Half Lotus, Marichyasana, twists, and finishing postures. As practice deepens from Primary into Intermediate Series, these demands increase, making hip intelligence and stability essential for longevity.
In this workshop, we’ll examine:
• How hip mobility and strength protect the knees
• Why forcing range of motion often leads to discomfort or injury
• How to approach Lotus, binds, and rotations in a way that supports long-term practice
• Practical adaptations that respect the Ashtanga method while honoring individual anatomyThe session will combine short talks, guided practice, and pose-specific exploration drawn from Primary and Intermediate Series. This workshop is suitable for both Primary and Intermediate practitioners, and is especially valuable for anyone interested in practicing Ashtanga with care, clarity, and sustainability.

2:00pm - 5:00pm (180 min)Rob C.26 of 30 openJourney into the Upside-Down: Unusual Inversions & Arm Balances
It's time to explore the strange, rebellious cousins of the poses you already know.
In this 3-hour deep dive, we'll shake down the usual suspects - handstand and Pincha - and take on the weird ones including:
> Single arm pincha
> Lotus shoulder stand
> Eight-angle pose
> Handstand scorpionHere’s the plan:
Phase 1: Warm Up: a strong practice to wake up the core and release the lower back
Phase 2: Explore: get down to getting upside down
Phase 3: Science Break: geek out on upper-body anatomy and muscle engagement, with free take-home resources and a quick Q&A
Phase 4: Synthesis: the flashier inversions and balances
Phase 5: Cool Down: shoulder and upper body release and deep relaxation. If you have a regular practice and are itching to play with the edge of your comfort zone, this is for you. Not for absolute beginners, but if you're working towards greater upper body strength, you'll leave with a clear roadmap of exercises to get you there.
-
2:00pm - 4:00pm (120 min)Gabriele E.21 of 25 open
What are inversions and why are they important. What are the benefits?o When we invert the body we use different muscles, we strengthen them and the blood tends to flow in opposite directions. They are challenging poses and that is why we like them as we are able to face them like your challenges in life.. being upside down gives you a sense of freedom and as the blood rushes through the brain feels like stress is released… But like every challenge in life we need to work towards the end result step by step, practicing safely is key, maintain that balance and then eventually rise to the next variation…
o Crow Pose and Crane Pose improve focus and stretch your buttocks (glutes), front of your thighs (quadriceps), and the palm sides of your wrists (wrist flexors). These poses also strengthen your core, upper back, chest, front of your hips (hip flexors), back of your thighs (hamstrings), arms, shoulders, forearms, and back of your wrists (wrist extensors).
o Headstand (Supported Headstand) is an energizing inversion that relies on the strength of your upper body and core, while centering and focusing your mind. Though there are many physical benefits, including building leg, arm, and core strength, this is a challenging pose that you must approach with a “safety first” mentality. The key to this asana is to avoid placing weight on your head and neck. Instead, let your arms and shoulders hold you up.
o Dolphin: Forearm Plank can be a great alternative to standard Plank Pose if you have wrist or hand issues. It improves posture and counteracts the effects of prolonged sitting and doing computer work; it strengthens your core (including the abdominals and back muscles), arms, shoulders, thighs, legs, and feet. Trust Dolphin Plank to help stimulate proper digestion by facilitating movement through the digestive tract (peristalsis). This is a pose that can also boost energy and fight fatigue, help build confidence and increase your sense of empowerment.
o Forearm balance: Builds neck, shoulder, and upper-back strength, Opens the shoulders in a balanced way, Improves emotional and physical strength and balance. Calms the mind and helps relieve stress. Raises energy level. -
2:00pm - 4:00pm (120 min)Dimple K.22 of 25 openArm balances: intimidating, mysterious… and actually way more approachable than you think.
Together we’ll break them down with smart drills and simple progressions. Understanding how body mechanics, weight shift, core, and most importantly mindset matter more than brute strength.
Crow, one-legged crow, flying pigeon, flying lizard, side crow, and a few quirky variations included.
Open to all levels (just bring a 30-second plank and a willingness to wobble)

How to release tension in the neck, shoulders, back, hips, glutes and feet by using simple techniques
Some take-away tips on how to continue to deepen your practice at homeWhat to bring:

Leave with the confidence to bring these techniques and shapes into your personal practice and better access the benefits of the bendy beasts.
Open to all levels.

2:30pm - 4:30pm (120 min)Charlotte G.12 of 20 openAs the days lengthen and energy rises, stillness becomes even more essential.
The Art of Stillness: Early Summer Ease is an invitation to stay grounded and regulated as life begins to feel fuller and faster. Rather than pushing through the brightness of summer, this workshop offers a calm counterbalance — a place to land, soften, and reconnect.
Through deeply supported restorative yoga and Thai massage therapeutic touch, we’ll explore rest that exists within activity, helping the body and nervous system remain steady, nourished, and resilient.
This workshop is open to all levels. Touch is always offered with consent, and every body is welcome.

2:00pm - 4:00pm (120 min)Ina Y.20 of 20 openThis class is for everyone who loves the Stretch & Mobility class and wants more. Similar to yoga, mobility is often offered only at a base level, and this workshop is a chance to go deeper. You will learn progressions and explore more challenging variations, transitions, and mobility exercises. The session will also explain how mobility practice complements yoga and how to use specific drills to deepen your yoga practice. We will also work with a partner and leave space to explore, play, and have fun.
