Stella first discovered yoga when she was a child as a warm up in dance class, little did she know that it was going to be such an important part of her life. Stella knows that Yoga was a driving force in overcoming ten years of chaos and destructive addiction. Upon returning from traveling to India Stella decided to train as a teacher and 2015 gain her 200 hour YTT with Yoga London. Stella is very much in touch with her inner child and is a qualified Rainbow Kid’s teacher and has worked with children since 2017. Stella will complete her level 2 500 hour teacher training with Julie Martin 2019-2020. While Stella appreciates the strength that yoga asana brings internally and externally she is more interested in how the practice combats the duality that exists in our society between mind and body and the profound benefits the practice has on the central nervous system. With this in mind, 2019 she studied 80 hours ‘Yoga for addictive personality’ with Carolyn Cowan. Stella teaches an non dogmatic style less concerned with what the practice looks like and more curious about sensation as experienced. You can expect an emphasis on relaxation, breath, body acceptance and awareness, intuitive movement and mindful movement.
