Roisin McGrogan
Instructor
Róisín is one of our Irish contingent at More. She has been practicing yoga for 15 years and teaching for the last 5. For her, yoga asana and movement are vital facilitators of the journey from head to heart, from panic to presence and from competition to connection, compassion and contentment. She teaches a strong class where are you are invited to play with new (to you) postures, cheat, wobble, giggle and confuse your arms, legs, lefts and rights. She will lead by both example and encouragement and students tell us her warmth and positivity are infectious. She has completed more than 800 hours of teacher training across multiple styles including hot power, rocket, hatha, yin, mandala and ashtanga. She is a perpetual student and along the path has had the privilege of being taught by Sharon Gannon, Ana Forrest, Doug Keller, Leslie Fightmaster, Dulce Aguilar, Erica Mather and Austin Ince among others. She is working towards her advanced certification with David Kyle and after that hopes to add Forrest to her teaching repertoire. Off the mat she has a background in Ignatian spirituality, is a key worker with a young people’s therapeutic service and has been known to sing a ditty a capella in a pub.
She hopes to meet you in Victoria soon!
