Kat has training as an Ashtanga and Rocket yoga teacher from the Yoga people and David Swenson. She teaches with an intention to help others discover the benefits of yoga as a tool to connect with themselves.
Kat teaches a playful yet challenging sequence with an emphasis on breath and accompanied by an upbeat contemporary music. She understands what it is like to not feel flexible enough, or strong enough for yoga. She has been there and still finds many challenges in her own practise. If gaining strengths and/or flexibility is YOUR intention then look no further and come to her classes.
Kat gained her 200hrs in Ashtanga and Rocket with The Yoga People, her intention being to help others discover the benefits of yoga as a tool to connect with themselves. She has also trained with David Swenson and regularly practices with Marcus Veda who awarded her the name ‘Polski Kat’.
Kat teaches Power Yoga and Rocket for those who lika a challenge and want to break a sweat.
Yin is a slow practice targeting not only the muscles but also the connective tissues and fascia, increasing flexibility, circulation and the flow of energy. But in addition to the physical benefits, a yin practice also helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system and calm everything down.
