Noemi Franco

Noemi is a full-time Yoga teacher and Yoga therapist who first encountered Yoga in her first trip to India in 2004. Since then she has been devoted to the study and the practice of the different aspects of Yoga with renowned international teachers.    Her teaching is influenced by the philosophy of Hatha Yoga and Krishnamacharya’s linage of Ashtanga, Viniyoga and Vinyasa Krama. Noemi holds a 500h teaching diploma from the BWY and 500h Yoga Alliance. She recently graduated from her 300h Prana Vinyasa Flow with Shiva Rea and from the Art of the Individual  Teaching (Yoga therapy ) at Sadhana Mala.

The modality of Vinyasa Flow taught by Noemi is very much informed by Shiva Rea’s ‘Prana Vinyasa Flow’ a strong and colourful style of Vinyasa really infused by the philosophy of Yoga.

Noemi classes are challenging, fun and creative respecting the tradition and philosophy behind the practice. She combines ‘Solar’ (strong/dynamic) Vinyasa with ‘Lunar’ (restorative/meditative) in order to bring balance to the whole system.  She pays great attention to the quality of breath supporting the movement and the alignment in the posture, in addition to adapting the practices to the different abilities and needs.

In accordance with Hatha Yoga philosophy, she integrates the dynamic “solar” practice of Vinyasa with gentler “lunar” restorative sessions, depending on the time of day and individual student needs.
