“I was 23 when I first stepped onto the yoga mat as a way to complement the time spent at the gym, and to also take a little time for myself away from the hustle of the city. Not long afterwards, I packed up my life and travelled abroad for a few years, but yoga was always something I came back to during my nomad travels.
Originally from Wellington, New Zealand, I relocated to London in November 2010 and have lived here ever since. After suffering from a bout of depression and anxiety, rediscovering my yoga practice helped me to find focus, balance and strength, and become a better me. I never looked back.
Fast forward to 2019 where I completed my 200hr Vinyasa yoga teacher training with Frame Academy, led by senior teachers Michael James Wong and Emily-Clare Hill, and mentored by Jonelle Lewis. Later that same year I completed an additional 50hr Power Flow Yoga Immersion with MoreYoga, led by Charlotte Wellfare and Becky Crepsley-Fox.
Whether or not you can or can’t touch your toes or do a headstand, we can all experience the same benefits of a yoga practice: mindfulness, stillness, focus, balance, strength. I’m passionate about making yoga accessible to all, no matter who you are, what you look like, or what you can or can’t do. I ensure my classes are safe and judgement-free spaces, so you can feel comfortable to focus on your own journey to being the best version of yourself.”
