Matt has been a qualified Osteopath since 2010 and a yoga teacher since 2011. This combination has given Matt a strong foundation in the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Since then he has studied and incorporated many disciplines into his movement practice, ranging from acrobatics to climbing, meditation to thai massage. He believes in the importance of a deep exploration of the body and the mind via a range of disciplines.
Matt’s classes are heavily influenced by the physical vinyasa flow of Sri Dharma Mittra. Combining this flow with pranayama, static postures and inversions (where appropriate); classes are highly tailored, depending on the students in attendance. By challenging students and developing a practice of non-judgment, he believes it encourages a greater state of concentration allows students to find a state of flow.
