Lily was born and raised in south London. She has a BA in Social Anthropology from SOAS. She’s a serial traveller and has been to over 30 countries and counting. She is and always will be a bookworm, and always has a book or two on the go.
For Lily, it was love at first sight with yoga. Even though at school she bunked off P. E. at every chance she could and she left her first yoga class at age 20 a sweaty wreck, Lily was instantly infatuated with the way yoga made her feel. Her muscles felt like they were singing, and her busy and anxious mind felt calm and still. Since then, no matter how busy her schedule, Lily always has time for yoga!
It’s Lily’s mission as a teacher for students to find joy in their practice. Her teaching style is playful and down to earth, and she welcomes all abilities to class. She completed her 200 hour Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training in Goa, India in 2017, and continues to train with senior teachers in a variety of styles in London.
Lily loves creating a safe space where students feel supported to learn, grow, and have fun on their mats. She is passionate about sharing insights into postures and alignment found from her personal practice, and enjoys creating fun playlists for her students.
In her classes, you’ll find the perfect balance between finding your inner zen and breaking a sweat.
