Karianne started to practice Yoga seeking to improve her physicality, flexibility and understanding of her body’s anatomy alongside her career as a professional dancer.
During her teacher training in New York City, she found so much more; a higher awareness of body, mind and breath and a deeper holistic connection. More important than ever in today’s climate, her teaching enhances the importance of observing and respecting the moment and exploring the balance and harmony that the body and mind crave. Karianne believes that yoga connects you deeper not only to yourself, but to the true nature of things and people around you. Yoga philosophy is honoured in all her classes.
Acknowledging her roots as a performer Karianne’s Vinyasa classes are often dynamic and fluid, combining movement and breath whilst being mindful of safe alignment and posture, encouraging each student to approach their individual practice with curiosity and an open mind…
