Yoga found Julian by happy accident at a time when mindfulness and movement with breath were not on his radar. After experiencing his first class he was hooked, initially by the physical benefits of the practice and then very quickly by the emotional and mindful benefits that the practice started to have. This love of yoga and its powers of transformation then led him and his partner to open a yoga studio of their own. This exposed Julian to different styles and practices of yoga, all-level practitioners, yoga retreats and trainings for the past 6 years. Through osmosis he has learnt a lot of things before even doing a teacher training of his own. By seeing the amazing effects this has had on the community that comes through the doors he wanted to be able to share this practice with others and give them an opportunity to connect with their breath and their bodies. Julian went on to do his 200hr training with Kindred School of Yoga under the teaching of Katarina Rayburn and Helen Russell-Clark. Julian’s classes are playful, challenging and accessible with options for all levels with the intent of making you feel strong, connected and relaxed.
