Inga couldn’t pinpoint the very first yoga class she took, or the one single ‘wow’ moment where everything fell into place thanks to yoga. From the very start it has been a non-linear journey rather than a destination.
What started as a way to stay active at university grew into something bigger and deeper. Reflecting on her journey, she can now see that it was during the most stressful and overwhelming moments that she kept on turning back to yoga, and gradually discovered just how beneficial the practise was to her wellbeing.
Yoga eventually became the foundation of her self-care routine, a tool of self-regulation to manage anxiety, the always-available friend that is there to check in on you, give space to breathe, reflect, and recentre.
Her goal with teaching is to help others deepen their mind-body connection and discover for themselves how anything you find through yoga, be it inner strength, presence, stillness, peace, balance, is never new or created – it was there all along.
Inga completed 200 hours in Ashtanga/Vinyasa Flow YTT in Goa, India and continues her development with Jason Crandell’s teachings. Her classes are dynamic and fun, designed to bring more balance between our strength and flexibility, and test the power of breath and self-regulation when meeting a challenge.
Inga teaches engaging and creative vinyasa flows designed to bridge the gap between our strength and flexibility for a sustainable practice. Get ready to be challenged and test the power of breathing.
