Aparna (500 RYT) believes anyone and everyone can do yoga and hence her sessions are all inclusive and accessible to every body.  Born and brought up in India, she was introduced to Yoga at a tender age. Her morning routine consisted of yogic shatkriyas, asanas, mantras, pranayama and meditation. Since then, Yoga became her lifestyle and a path to her spiritual quest. Although she went on to persue a career in entertainment and creative field, in which she worked for almost 2 decades. It was only later that she started teaching yoga in 2019. After completing her trainings in Hatha, Samkhya philosophy and Ashtanga Vinyasa from the Himalayan foothills and various reputed schools like  Kaivalyadham University and Ramesh Shetty Yogashala Mysore; she found her practice to be deeply rooted in the core philosophy of Yoga that takes yoga beyond the physical practice to one that embodies – the eight limbs of yoga. Aparna draws inspiration from years of training in Dance and movement, allowing her to combine it  with  yogic body awareness techniques in her teachings. Her deep love for yoga and self exploration, led Aparna to study further and later be certified as a Trauma informed yoga teacher.  In her classes, you can expect mindful movement, dynamic meditation and somatic practices where you’ll learn how to disengage from the monkey mind and become aware of your bodily sensations.  She interweaves postures, breathwork , mantras & yoga nidra seamlessly in her creative and invigorating flows. Her classes will challenge you physically and yet calm your mind at the same time. Aparna has developed her own method of Movement & Dance meditation which has successfully led many to have a positive and cathartic experience.

Aparna believes yoga is a practice of self Enquiry, where you enter through the body and end up discovering a new state of Self.  She is grateful to all her teachers and continues to educate herself even today.
