Ana Maria, originally from the wild windswept West coast of Ireland, is a yoga teacher, bodyworker, podcaster and barefoot enthusiast.
After studying fine art at University she travelled the world searching for inspiration and found yoga. In 2013 she completed her YTT and she began teaching in Guatemala. She has been living and teaching in London since 2016.
Ana Maria is so grateful to her supremely knowledgeable teachers including Simon Borg-Olivier, Anna Ashby and Jo Phee.
She creates a nourishing space in her restorative classes where stillness and support from props allow you to unwind and return to a more natural state of being. The classes are based on the idea of spaciousness and surrender in order to find fresh energy from within.
Her vinyasa classes are strong but calm focused on helping students feel supported in order to connect with their own intuitive nature. Through creativity and a deep understanding of anatomy, she invites students to experience the essence of connection between mind, body and breath.
