MoreYoga School of Svadhyaya

Svadhyaya is a Sanskrit word that is used in Hinduism to signify the study of one’s self. The term comes from the Sanskrit roots sva, meaning “self” or “own,” and adhyaya, meaning “lesson,” “reading” or “lecture.” It can also be interpreted as coming from the root dyhai, which means “meditate” or “contemplate.” Both interpretations connote a close study of the self.

The MoreYoga School of Svadhyaya is a dedicated learning programme for yoga teachers to increase their knowledge and experience after their initial 200 hours teacher training. Our goal is to improve teaching standards across the yoga industry by improving accessibility to affordable continual training, alongside our FREE training for our in-house team.

We are excited to be developing a programme of 50 hour teacher trainings around specific areas.

If you have a 50 hours training course that you would like to present to MoreYoga teachers or via School of Svadhyaya external training, please complete our course registration form and we’ll get back to you asap.

Commitment to Excellence

MoreYoga is committed to continually educating its teachers. Our School Of Svadhyaya is an internal training programme that is dedicated to building experience and sharing knowledge that allows our teachers to grow and flourish.

Build Connection & Support Networks

The life of yoga teachers can be isolated. By bringing teachers together in this dedicated learning environment, we want to help build their support network, sense of community and to create a buzz around the sharing of insights and knowledge that develop everyone’s practice.

Share Knowledge & Fresh Insights

Teaching yoga is a continual journey – and we want to encourage our incredible teachers to share knowledge and explore ideas, methods and techniques with each other. This collective approach brings fresh learning to the mix alongside the traditional.

Create Opportunity for Teaching & Learning

The opportunity to learn and improve is something we hold close to our hearts. With so many teachers coming into the yoga fold, it is important for them to have opportunity to increase their training and develop their skills and knowledge without it breaking the bank.
