Late Night Lock Ins ONLINE

EPISODE 21

MoreYoga ONLINE (via Zoom)
Friday May 22nd, 6-8.30pm

Mental Health Awareness Week Special:
CULTIVATING KINDNESS

To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week & the theme of Kindness we invite you to join us for an evening of self-care. Allow us to transport you to your own inner sanctuary as you are guided through a nurturing Flow to Restore yoga practice with Liz Joy Oakley, to help calm the mind & soothe the body. Dr. Stephanie Minchin will then lead you through a therapeutic reflective workshop to help you learn the tools & techniques to cultivate more kindness. We will close our evening with a healing Gong Bath with Welford Wellbeing to leave you feeling restored, relaxed and ready for bed! Good Karma included in each ticket purchase as 25% of all proceeds will go to Choose Love charity.

MoreYoga Late Night Lock Ins are an alternative to a night out, an opportunity to spend your Friday evening in with us doing something that enriches your Mind, Body & Spirit. As part of the MoreMind project, every Lock In is inspired by our ethos that invites you to approach your health holistically by combining Yoga, Psychology and Sound Healing.

Good Karma is also included in each ticket purchase as 25% of all profits will go to Choose Love, a new movement in charity that provides emergency aid and long term solutions where they are most needed.

Please bring warm layers, a notebook, pen and any snacks you would like for the evening.

WHAT TO EXPECT

As we are currently in lockdown, we’ve moved our lock ins online.

YOGA
We will open the evening with a Yoga practise, combining breathwork, mindfulness and movement to help relax the body and quiet the mind before moving into a short Guided Meditation to help us ground into the space for the evening. This practice is suitable for everyone & all levels are welcome.

PSYCHOLOGY WORKSHOP
Integrating yoga philosophy and models of western psychology, you will be guided through discussion and an individual written mind-mapping exercise supporting silent self-reflexivity and contemplation.

SOUND HEALING GONG BATH
Using sound vibration, we’ll help bring blissed-out silence to your mind, relaxation to your body and a connection to your soul. The deep vibrations resonate all the cells in the body activating your relaxation response, slowing your heart rate and entraining the brain to Theta, the bliss state.

HOW DOES IT WORK ONLINE?

You will book in the normal way via the link below. You will receive a ZOOM link 30 mins before the event, which will allow you to log in.
