BE KIND TO YOUR MIND: Rebuilding Resilience & Tackling Taboos

MoreYoga x Mindspace support World Mental Health Day

Join us on World Mental Health Day to help raise money for The Mental Health Foundation, raise awareness about Mental Health and learn about the importance of Rebuilding Resilience. 

Heather Mason, Founder of the Minded Institute will open our evening with a talk about how Yoga and Meditation can be used as powerful tools in building resilience and improving mental health. Clinical Psychologist and Yoga Teacher Stephanie Minchin will then take us through some practical ways of improving our mental resilience. We will close our evening with an open discussion about how we can continue to tackle the taboos around mental health. 

We will be raffling off class packs for MoreYoga so please bring change along with you – all raffle donations and ticket proceeds will go to The Mental Health Foundation. 

At MoreYoga we believe yoga and meditation are forms of imperative mental hygiene and we want Mental Health to be at the centre of our services. At this event we will be encouraging people to open up and explore how yoga can be a pathway for healing (and ongoing maintenance!)

Doors open at 6pm. Introductions and welcome meditation at 6:15pm. Talks to commence at 6:30pm.
