One of the best things that has come out of lockdown for us is to see the way it has strengthened our community. We want to bring our members together, bringing little pieces of joy, fun and enlightenment along the way in a our NEW Virtual Cafe!
We will be inviting our teachers and special guests to host sessions around certain themes as well as simple, pure fun! Talent Show, Karaoke, Pub Quiz, Comedy Night, Open Mic, Sex Chat, Book Club, Supper Club, Pet Club and much more!
HOW DO I TAKE PART?
Simply click on the buttons or links to the session you’d like to join and use the password (pw).
We would ask people to try and arrive a few minutes early to get settled and ready for the session.
You do not need to book in advance, just turn up.

Join our resident Wellbeing Coach & Yoga Teacher Liz Joy Oakley for our weekly Self-Care Club at the Connection Cafe – a safe & lighthearted space to learn how to prioritise Self-Care and open up the discussion around Mental Health and the importance of Emotional Wellbeing in our community.

SHAKE IT OFF: SHAKTI DANCE

Shakti Dance is a ‘yoga of dance’ offering a joyful yogic path through the conscious practice of dance. Initially Mantra & Mudra are used to tune mind & body to Spirit, opening a meditative protective space in which to work. Followed by a series of Shakti stretching, gentle & flowing floor asanas to open the pranic body. This current of movement flows up to standing and self-repeating dance steps linked with breath-coordinated movement recharging vitality. The pranic body starts flowing freely and Shakti begins to unfold into Free Dance of self expression. After a relaxation we close with Mantra Meditations as inner & outer worlds are brought into balance while creating a protective auric shield.
The effects of Shakti Dance are immediately noticeable after the first class. Participants report feeling lighter, more free in their movement & at home in their bodies.
